Deputy Ward Manager / Night Service Coordinator – Mental Health Hospital Location: Lincolnshire Salary: £41,650 per annum ⏳ Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Are you a qualified RMN or RNLD with leadership experience looking for your next career step? We are seeking a Deputy Ward Manager / Night Service Coordinator to provide senior nursing leadership within a specialist mental health hospital. This role is ideal for an experienced mental health nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality care, leading a team, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Provide leadership and support to the night staff team. ✅ Ensure clinical excellence and patient safety through effective governance. ✅ Manage risk assessments and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. ✅ Supervise and develop junior staff and student nurses, providing clinical supervision and mentorship. ✅ Contribute to care planning and therapeutic interventions for patients with mental health or learning disability needs. ✅ Lead audits and hospital walk-rounds, ensuring high standards of care. ✅ Actively support multi-disciplinary teamwork, fostering a collaborative approach. ✅ Identify and address staffing needs to maintain a strong skill mix. What We’re Looking For: ✔ Qualified RMN or RNLD with 18 months - 2 years post-registration experience. ✔ Active NMC registration with a commitment to Revalidation. ✔ Experience as a Clinical Supervisor or Assessor (training desirable). ✔ Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team. ✔ Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to different situations. ✔ Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
