They have a presence in all the leading supermarkets in the UK and are expanding.\n Job Role & Key Responsibilities:\n As an Engineering Team Leader, your focus will be delivering operational excellence, promoting modern maintenance strategies.\n\nLead the delivery of Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) strategies\nPromote and enforce HSE, food safety, hygiene, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures\nCollaborate with production teams to align priorities and achieve equipment performance goals\nMonitor KPIs such as MTBF, unplanned downtime, labour utilisation, and spares inventory compliance\nDrive team performance and skills development through coaching and training\nLead cross-functional projects focused on continuous improvement and equipment reliabilityThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nHND/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent apprenticeship with experience)\nProven leadership in a high-paced production or manufacturing environment\nExperience managing maintenance teams, budgets, and third-party contractors\nIn-depth knowledge of process plant systems, utilities, and infrastructure\nFamiliarity with lean maintenance practices including RCA, 5S, CBM, and Kaizen\nStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDesirable Skills:\n\nHands-on experience in a food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing environment\nExperience with modern digital maintenance systems and CMMS platformsBenefits include:\n\nCompany bonus scheme\nProduct allowance\n24/7 GP access\nGenerous pension & holiday entitlementIf you believe you are a great fit for this role, we'd love to hear from you.
