Facilities Manager, Hard Services Bias - FM - Nottingham - £42,860 Inclusive of Car Allowance plus excellent benefits
This company, a National player in the FM world, require a Facilities Manager to be based at their prestigious client site in Nottingham. There will be a requirement to cover 4 locations: Sheffield, Nottingham, Solihull & Cambridge. Salary: £42,860 Inclusive of Car Allowance plus excellent benefits

Location: Nottingham, with a requirement to cover 4 locations: Sheffield, Nottingham, Solihull & Cambridge
Hours of work: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Facilities Manager Responsibilities:
* Operational management and development of all scoped works to include Critical plant replacements, Emergency procedures planning, Contingency planning, review of maintenance techniques, toward-run time and condition-based maintenance, Continuous review of subcontracted works, Activity risk assessment, Integration and Partnership Team Building.
* Close liaison with the client regarding the status of maintenance operations.
* Ensure the commercial viability and growth of the contract is achieved.
* Champion the IMS Quality System and ensure its compliance.
* Agree to undertake Authorised Person status and associated responsibilities.
* Ensure that technical staff induction and technical training including the delivery of H&S Toolbox Talks are undertaken.
* Conduct staff performance appraisal of direct reports.
* Accident investigation, reporting and instigation of corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work including Permit to Work systems and isolation procedures.
The successful candidate:
* Proven track record of operations management in a hard services FM environment
* Technical background, ideally in an electrical or mechanical discipline
* Good IT skills
* Good interpersonal and customer relationships
* Exceptional presentation and communication skills
* Good command of the English language, both orally and verbally
* A good understanding of H&S, Compliance and Audits
* Clean, full UK driving license
* BIFM and experience with TUPE process would be desirable
