Here at Randstad Education, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper Key Stage 2 (UKS2) Teacher to join our dynamic team at a well-established primary school in Liverpool. This long-term role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to inspire and motivate students in Years 5 and 6, helping them to achieve their full potential in preparation for their transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to students in Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6).
2. Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
3. Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs and those working at greater depth.
4. Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting next steps for improvement.
5. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
6. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a focused and positive learning atmosphere.
7. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school trips.
What we are looking for:
1. A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
2. Experience teaching in UKS2, with a solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
3. A passion for education and helping children achieve their best.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
6. A commitment to professional development and improving teaching practices.
