The Role
A prestigious Legal 500 firm in Chippenham is seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to join their Residential Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced secretary to support a dynamic and high-performing team, working closely with solicitors and fee earners on a range of residential property matters.
The Residential Conveyancing team advises on transactions involving freehold and leasehold properties, providing tailored support to clients throughout the property sale, purchase, and lease processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Residential Conveyancing team.
* Accurately type and format correspondence, legal documents, and other materials.
* Communicate effectively with clients, handling telephone and email inquiries professionally.
* Assist in preparing contracts, leases, and other property-related documentation.
* Manage diaries, arrange appointments, and coordinate meetings.
* Ensure all case files are up-to-date and maintain compliance with internal procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience as a legal secretary within Residential Conveyancing or Commercial Property.
* Proficient in typing, with a keen eye for detail and excellent presentation skills.
* Knowledge of freehold and leasehold property matters.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
* A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
