We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, compassionate and dedicated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team offering a range of therapies and approaches, to clients with a diverse range of mental health issues. This is a fixed term post until the end of March 2025 and would welcome applications from those wanting to work up to 1.0wte, including part time hours. Our service has a growing number of Psychological Professions working in a system with clear governance and leadership structures which enables Psychological Professions to have a strong voice and to offer good support to those working with us.
The postholder will work predominantly into the Psychological Therapies hub offering specialist psychological assessment and interventions,developing formulations and implementing evidence based interventions in line with NICE guidance. They will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. They will also be committed to the principles of recovery, have effective interpersonal and time management skillsas well as being a responsive and motivated team player.
We are looking for a clinical psychologist with excellent clinical skills, and a passion for working with people with a broad range of mental health needs across the lifespan. We have a strong and thriving community of clinical psychologists and psychological therapists within Rotherham primary and community mental health services. We are strongly invested in supporting staff development through further training opportunities and there is a strong focus on quality supervision provided by our Senior Clinical Psychologists but also specialist supervision groups for supporting clinical practice within particular models of practice including EMDR and CAT.
