Mental Health Youth Worker Location of school: Grantham Essential: Clean UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle Start date: As soon as possible Contract: Full time, temporary to permanent or straight permanent Pay: £84-£105 per day (ranges based on age) We are currently supporting an SEMH school who are in need of Mental Health Youth Workers to support students aged 5-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. You will need a DBS on the update service for this role (we can also provide one for you). Responsibilities: - Using CPOMs to report incidents - Supporting students with future aspirations and job opportunities - Supporting students with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities or who experience anxiety and/or depression - Working with students on an EHCP - Monitor and record a students progress and behaviour - Manage very challenging behaviours - Work closely with Curriculum Leaders and Site Lead Teachers If you have experience in a school setting or with SEND and SEMH students please apply.
