My client is an EPIC, wonderful financial services company, and I am supporting a great role linked to client employee benefits financial services administration, specifically related to corporate client support. This role requires skills supporting IFA financial advisors and the client bank, as well as compliance. The client is looking for a team player with good common sense, an eye for detail, excellent telephone and communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a busy team. There is room for growth and opportunity within this role.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
* Strong working knowledge linked to GLA, GPMI, GIP, GCIC.
* Ideally, some pensions administration skills in addition to the above requirements.
* Proven experience in the IFA sector and as a strong financial services administrator in corporate services.
* Proven experience working within the group risk area – GLA, GIP, GPMI, GCIC, etc.
In addition, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel will be needed to carry out the role. Training on our back office systems will be provided, and knowledge of Intelligent Office is also required.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Client Work:
* Together with team colleagues, ensure all reviews and renewals are processed professionally and timely.
* Direct contact with clients and providers.
* Prepare templated Recommendation Reports for Advisers.
* Deal with all daily queries raised by clients and colleagues.
* When appropriate, accompany Advisers to client meetings.
* Perform ad hoc projects and assistance for the Head of Client Services as required.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
* Proven experience in the financial services IFA sector with pensions and client support skills in administration.
* Proven experience working within the group risk arena – GLA, GIP, GPMI, GCIC, etc.
* Ability to meet deadlines and provide clear communication to clients at all times.
* Answer phones promptly in a professional and helpful manner.
* Work unsupervised and use initiative at all times.
* Ability to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning.
* Ability to prioritize and organize own workload related to financial services requirements.
I.T. Skills:
* IO back office software (Intelligent Office).
* Other research tools appropriate to the business.
* Microsoft Office.
Position in Organisation:
* Reports to the Head of Client Services.
* Integral to the smooth running of the Corporate Services Team.
PLEASE NOTE: The successful candidate will liaise with corporate clients, providers, professional connections, and other members of client support teams depending upon business needs. The position is contractually office-based but currently allows for remote work up to three days a week.
