If you have expertise in managing product and brand campaigns we would love to her from you - wether this expertise was built in-house or at an agency In close collaboration with the Senior PR Manager, the Publicist will coordinate and lead on product communications, driving campaigns not only in the UK but also across the EMEA region, which encompasses about 60 markets This role will involve managing the day-to-day activities of product and brand initiatives, ensuring effective execution to achieve strong results in the UK while supporting EMEA markets in similar efforts. The Pubicist will engage with fast-paced, ambitious, and varied campaigns, collaborating with teams across Disney in the US and EMEA to innovate and optimise communications. Additionally, you may assist with TV and show campaigns as needed. The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, proactive, and organised, championing diverse thinking and demonstrating a commitment to delivering outstanding results. This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week What You Will Do Take a leading role as the publicist for Disney brand and product campaigns in the UK, serving as the regional point of contact for teams across EMEA. Work closely with the Senior PR Manager, the Director, and individual market counterparts to develop and deliver insights and updates on product and brand communication plans, as well as creative campaigns for titles launching on Disney and brand campaigns for Disney itself. Engage with a diverse range of media, focusing on consumer tech, personal finance, entertainment, and TV press. Cultivate positive relationships to ensure Disney remains at the forefront of this audience. Bring expertise in running experiential campaigns and organise large-scale media events throughout the year. Be responsible for effective project management and budgeting, ensuring that all aspects of the events are planned and executed seamlessly. Manage a broad range of campaigns, both product and content-focused, including launching Disney into new markets, rolling out ad-supported plans, and developing creative ideas for major seasonal events such as Christmas. This role encompasses creative ideation, talent brokering, partnership management, and the production of assets, including photography and videography. Balance responsibilities between UK and regional support, navigating a diverse range of global business stakeholders. Lead and drive seasonal strategies and ongoing press office initiatives, ensuring our content and platform are highlighted to drive awareness and engagement with our offerings. Manage crisis communications as needed, ensuring effective responses that uphold our brand reputation. Demonstrate expertise in engaging with stakeholders and be comfortable navigating crises of all sizes, having actively participated in reactive planning and crisis management. Required Qualifications & Skills Expert background in consumer product and brand communications or TV publicity—or both. A clear understanding of securing impactful coverage in traditional print media, online media, social platforms, and influencer engagement, driven by creative thinking. A solid grasp of traditional press relations and the evolving influencer landscape, with a strategic approach to using influencer partnerships to amplify campaign reach. Expertise in planning and implementing large-scale media and experiential campaigns is required, including full ownership of logistics, talent coordination, and creative production. Expertise in organising high-impact media events from initial concept through to post-event follow-up, effectively managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholders. Strong contacts in the consumer tech and TV entertainment sectors are essential, demonstrating the skill to build relationships across internal teams, agencies, and the industry. Confidence in managing multiple campaigns from start to finish is essential. Approach each campaign in a productive and collaborative manner, while managing tight timeframes. Passion for great TV and streaming across genres, combined with curiosity and a desire to engage audiences innovatively, is key. Demonstrable experience running junkets and comfort working with international colleagues across time zones is vital. Highly organised and efficient, demonstrating effective management of own workload, keeping stakeholders updated, and proactively sharing key information in a timely manner. Strong experience in writing and crafting press materials, copy, scripts, talking points, and Q&As creatively, drafting media materials, managing sell-in strategies, and leveraging news agendas. Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel. Preferred Qualifications Background in the TV or streaming industry would be helpful.
