The successful Physical Education Teacher will promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles among students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Physical Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Prepare students for practical assessments and examinations in PE and potentially sports science. Develop students' physical fitness, skills, and understanding of sports and health. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Physical Education Teacher. Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular sports activities and teams. Encourage a lifelong commitment to physical activity and well-being. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education. Proven experience teaching PE at secondary level, potentially including Key Stage 5. Strong knowledge of various sports, physical activities, and health principles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in PE.
