Head of Finance - £45,000 - £50,000 - Full-time - Permanent Macildowie are working with a well-established business in the logistics sector based in Coalville, to recruit a Head of Finance reporting straight into the directors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead a team and drive process improvements in a dynamic environment. The Role: Leading a team including two Assistant Management Accountants and a Payroll & Treasury Accountant. Managing finance systems, reporting, and internal audits. Driving automation and efficiency in financial processes. Overseeing month-end and year-end reporting. Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns. Reviewing and signing off payroll. Working with external advisors on financial statements, audits, and tax returns. What They're Looking For: AAT qualified (minimum), CIMA part/fully qualified preferred. Strong Excel skills, Power BI knowledge desirable. Proven ability to implement systems and improve processes. A proactive, methodical, and deadline-conscious approach. A positive, team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
