Job summary Band 3 - Radiology Booking Clerk Full time and part time. Permanent post. The Radiology Admin and Clerical Team at Royal Bolton Hospital has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible individual looking for a challenge in a post that is both interesting and varied. The Radiology booking team is expanding with the introduction of the Community Diagnostic Centre. The successful candidate will be based predominantly in the Radiology Community Diagnostic Centre and will help to monitor and support the Imaging service as well as coordinate outpatient clinics and provide assistance with clinical colleagues in meetings. The post holder will also be required to rotate through other areas of Radiology to support with service demands. You should have the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including covering for colleagues during absence and annual leave. Will have a full understanding of booking processes, and ensure standards are implemented, adhered to, maintained and approved to ensure patients are appointed and their pathway is managed appropriately. Liaising with patients / carers to agree all appointments / attendances, cancellations and re-booking. Manage non-attendance in line with the Trust's Access Policy.
