Site Manager
Location: Portgordon, Scotland
The Site Leader will have full responsibility for the efficient and compliant operation of a multi-site hub. This includes strategic leadership, financial management, compliance, and team development.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
2. Managing financial performance, including full P&L accountability.
3. Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a strong safety culture.
4. Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
5. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
6. Acting as the key point of contact for third-party stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
1. At least 20 years of experience in operations, including 5+ years at a senior leadership level.
2. Proven track record of continuous improvement with a LEAN, 6SIGMA approach.
3. Strong knowledge of production or manufacturing operations, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
4. Experience managing P&L and budgets, with a track record of driving profitability.
5. Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing teams of 10+ people.
6. A deep understanding of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) compliance.
7. The ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
8. A degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline, or equivalent experience.
