The Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating and delivering the leasing and residential activities while assisting the Community Manager in the day to day management of this portfolio to achieve budgeted revenue, occupancy priorities, resident retention and leasing goals and objectives. Key Role Responsibilities Serve as a role model by upholding company core values at all times. Manage viewing activities, conduct follow-ups, and ensure feedback is collected. Oversee the leasing process, including prospect qualification, tenancy documentation, and move-in/move-out procedures. Utilize property systems for leasing reports, maintenance requests, and record-keeping. Engage with residents to enhance service delivery, satisfaction, and retention. Monitor leasing activities, recommend pricing strategies, and ensure promotional efforts are effective. Ensure compliance with UK tenancy laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve leasing targets, train team members, and support succession planning. Review financial and operational reports to optimize leasing performance and revenue generation. Act as a General Manager in their absence and participate in on-call emergency support when required. About You You must have a proven track record of successfully enhancing leasing/sales performance and overseeing operations, including P&L responsibility and budget monitoring in the property sector or a similar environment. Detailed knowledge of Landlord/Tenant Legislation is essential. While being a strong team player, you should also excel in working autonomously and taking ownership. A flexible and adaptable approach to thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment is crucial. Being self and culturally aware, you should possess the ability to tailor relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills to diverse audiences. Fluent English verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with excellent organizational abilities, multitasking skills, and numerical proficiency.
