Job Title: Project Manager Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: From £50,000 dependent on experience What you’ll be doing: You will be leading all project phases and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with company and departmental quality procedures Working within a diverse internal network of teams and external customers Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to ensure success in your and your colleagues’ projects Developing project proposals, rough order of magnitude estimates for new requirements working collaboratively with the business and IT function Delivering best value and customer satisfaction by managing relationships with a range of functions within the business You will be providing budgetary and financial control Developing project plans and identifying and managing the associated risk and dependencies of risk assessment Creating investments cases together with project sponsors and progressing these through the organisation funding processes Ensuring the successful mobilisation and handover from delivery Your skills and experiences: Essential: You will need to have experience within the end-to-end delivery of projects – from initial scoping through to delivery and handover Experience within IT Project Management Experience in project controls, project management and change management (tools, techniques, and practices) Excellent stakeholder management experience and the ability to communicate with and influence complex internal and external stakeholder groups You will be required to have experience of managing risks and mitigating them effectively Desirable: Have a good ability to manage financial data and budgets Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The Project Management team: The Product Fulfilment team is one of four Product Groups within the IT function. Product Fulfilment is responsible for providing the IT capabilities that are required by the core delivery functions of the business (such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Project Delivery), and those which support it (such as HR and Finance). This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team, foster new and existing relationships across a large Enterprise and deliver Projects that improve the Build, Test & Commissioning of Submarines.
