What you will do: - Undertake and complete specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for people with physical disabilities in their homes. - Manage a caseload appropriate to your expertise, providing expert OT advice and maintaining liaison with colleagues and partners. - Complete 10 new assessments and close 10 cases each month. - Handle telephone and email queries promptly. - Make well-informed recommendations to meet clients' eligible needs efficiently. - Recommend and provide OT equipment as necessary. - Suggest minor and major adaptations in home settings. - Carry out Moving and Handling assessments and offer relevant support and advice to carers and family members. - Respond promptly to urgent referrals, prioritising workload according to risk levels and duty of care. - Participate in the OT Duty rota when required. - Make further referrals within the organisation or externally when needed. To apply for this position, you must be HCPC registered and possess a valid driving license, as driving is essential for site visits and assessments.
