About the role
We are currently recruiting a Principal Engineer EC&I to our growing team.
Main Responsibilities
* Technical integrity and development of safe, compliant engineering solutions to satisfy project and legal requirements.
* Understand and apply design codes, standards and procedures appropriate to scope of work ensuring compliance of the project's engineering deliverables.
* Provide leadership in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages.
* Production of engineering documentation to influence and evidence the design process.
* Checking and approval of the work of others.
The Person
* Degree with honours or Level 6 equivalent.
* Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
* Several years’ experience working in EC&I design engineering.
* Several years’ experience working within a highly regulated industry (preferably nuclear).
* Understanding of NEC suite of contracts, change control methodology and common project management practices.
