CABI regularly recruits practical technical support over the summer months. The role will support practical aspects of the planned relocation of CABI from its current Egham site to Silwood Park, Berkshire in July 2025. Furthermore, part of the role is to assist with the field season for its running UK biological control initiative in support of the delivery of its high- profile scientific research projects. This position is ideally suited to a dynamic individual, eager to support practical on the ground work while looking to gain an understanding of the principles of biological control as well as an insight into routine technical aspects of the experimental work involved to support an internationally recognised team in their scientific work in the field of biological control of invasive weeds. The role requires good organisational and communication skills and engagement with technical staff in the Facility team as well as scientific staff within the Invasives team.
