The role of a Teaching Assistant is to support pupils with SEN needs in and out of the classroom, ensuring that they are given the necessary tools and materials to remain focused during lessons as well as keeping the pupils motivated at all times.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school SENDco, who has been supporting SEN pupils for a number of years and to this day still takes great joy in the role. During your time as a Teaching Assistant, you will be playing a huge role in these pupils’ education as you will be there point of call, this role is extremely rewarding.
This school is located in Redditch and is easily accessible by public transport links, to and from the city centre. The headteacher at this fantastic school, has been with them for a number of years and has ensured that each pupil is given the best access to as possible.
