We are looking for a Domestic Abuse Service Manager
Salary: £33,000 - £39,000 per annum
Location: Hammersmith with travel Services in North & Central West London
Hours: 35 Hours per week (some working from home)
Contract: Fixed Term until – 31st March 2025 with the possibility to extend

About the role:

As a DA Service Manager, you will have a proven track record of leadership in providing services to women experiencing domestic violence and abuse and violence against women and girls in need of housing services, working with Advance management, agencies, and partners to provide consistency and a wrap-around service. Managing frontline workers, you will deliver 1:1 advocacy and ensure that the service fulfils the needs of women accessing it across East and West London Boroughs.
About You:
To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Service Manager you will need the below experience and skills:
You will bring in-depth and thorough knowledge of VAWG especially domestic violence and abuse and relative issues.
With significant experience of creating, you will be developing and leading teams and remotely, including harnessing the strengths and potential of staff at all levels, building a strong team culture and maintaining staff motivation, particularly through periods of change. You will need to demonstrate how you supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining good levels of motivation.
You will bring your experience of working in partnership with statutory and voluntary services, experience of working directly with women presenting with a complex range of needs, risk assessing, needs assessing and safety and support planning.
You will demonstrate your experience of delivering presentations, training and workshops in a multi-agency setting, Recruiting, training and developing a team of highly skilled IDVAs, caseworkers and specialist project staff.
Proven skills in line and performance management of frontline workers and project staff, supporting and overseeing the management of caseloads and casework, ensuring service coverage while monitoring budget and supporting the senior management. The DA Service manager will have a depth of understanding of experiences and emotions of survivors of women and girls affected by violence and be able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy and sensitivity.
Your track record will demonstrate how you build and maintaining networks and working with partner agencies and other stakeholders to develop and deliver services.
You will need to attend various collocations across North and Central West London to support the direct reports and ensure quality in practice and attendance to partnership meetings and also support the on-call system on late duty as the line manager on a regular rota.
