Motivated Structural Engineer needed to join a new regional presence. Are you a Structural Engineer, ready to step up into a role, supporting the growth of a new team and having an active role in the growth of the office? We are working with an independently run engineering consultancy with a fantastic reputation with over 30 years of history. They are looking for an experienced structural engineer to join a new Bristol office. With a talented and diverse team, this practice has an active social scene and promises real career development. Recent and current projects include:
* High tech data centres
* Apartment units and commercial buildings
* Waste to energy projects
* Historic Bridges
* Heavy Civil Structures
* Historic restoration of the local historically significant buildings
* Local out of town retail parks
* Blue light services across the country
* Local airport infrastructure
The business is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join the team who can work autonomously using their initiative to help drive the structural side of the business forward Responsibilities will include;
* Looking after key accounts and clients
* Liaising with clients, contractors and architects
* Attending site and design team meetings
* Maintaining client relationships and new business
* Hands on design responsibility
Ideally candidates will meet the following criteria:
* Working towards Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE
* Background in structural engineering (buildings)
* Good business acumen
* Excellent communication skills
* Varied project portfolio
