About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated ASC support for a Year 2 pupil in a warm and welcoming primary school in Poulton-le-Fylde. This is your chance to help a young learner thrive socially, emotionally, and academically in a nurturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Providing 1:1 support to an ASC pupil.
2. Delivering creative and engaging activities tailored to individual needs.
3. Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources and teaching strategies.
4. Promoting positive communication and social skills.
5. Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For
1. Experience working with children with SEN/ASC (or a keen willingness to learn).
2. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
3. A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
4. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
