Job Title: Legal Secretary - Medical Negligence Team Location: Leeds Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are recruiting for a well know law firm based in Leeds for a Secretary to join their Medical Negligence team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and format legal documents, including medical records, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence. Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings with clients and medical professionals. Maintain and organise client files, both electronic and physical, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. Conduct legal and medical research, gather relevant information, and assist in case preparation. Assist with billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Answer and direct phone calls, handle client inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service. File documents with courts and relevant medical boards or agencies. Perform general administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing. Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with medical terminology and court procedures. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Attention to detail and accuracy.
