Join the Arriva TrainCare Team as an Accounts Assistant Organisation - Arriva TrainCare (ATC) Location – Crewe with hybrid working Contract – Permanent Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday About Us: At Arriva TrainCare we provide high quality overhaul, maintenance and servicing of passenger rolling stock, locomotives, freight wagons and track plant. We operate throughout the UK from six strategic locations – Crewe, Bristol, Eastleigh, Cambridge, Tyne Yard and Scarborough. The Role: You will be responsible for assisting our accountants with day-to-day administration. What You’ll Do: Process and raise sales ledger invoices Process and raise credit notes Monitor debt and carry out credit control Respond to queries Prepare sales accrued income Produce sales ledger KPIs Monthly reconciliations Support Management accounts RDCO annual statutory return Ensure compliance with internal controls What You Will Bring: Qualifications – working towards AAT with a full, valid driving licence Experience – previous accounting experience, previous customer service experience Knowledge – good understanding of accounting systems with knowledge of SAP B1 would be beneficial Skills – highly organised, strong attention to detail, self-motivated to proactively plan time to achieve targets and objectives, able to communicate effectively at all levels and across business functions, and an enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
