Procurement Coordinator Procurement Coordinator Job Type – Permanent, Hybrid Location – Central Support, Hemel Hempstead, with some travel to our amazing parks What we need, in a nutshell: We’re seeking an enthusiastic Procurement Coordinator to support in driving operational excellence, governance, and compliance across the procurement function. This includes acting as the main point of contact for procurement operations, providing specialist support, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Who are we? Key responsibilities: If you can match the skills, experience and qualities listed below, we’d love to hear from you: Act as the first point of contact for the procurement function, assisting internal stakeholders with procurement queries and processes. Maintain and update procurement performance dashboards, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Own and update the Procurement Workplace site to enhance communication and engagement. Manage the Away Resorts Preferred Supplier List (PSL). Analyse data trends in spend across categories and present insights to the Procurement Manager. Assist in identifying and delivering cost-saving initiatives by reviewing spend data and identifying opportunities for efficiencies. Ensure compliance with procurement policies by monitoring and maintaining accurate supplier and contract records. Help manage and maintain the supplier base, ensuring accurate data and relationship tracking. Support supplier negotiations by preparing data and analysis to inform decision-making. Ensure supplier compliance and Away Resorts standards. Work on initiatives to improve procurement processes and procedures. Support the enforcement of policies such as “no PO, no pay” across the group. Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to ensure the effective implementation of SLAs. Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need: Good level of general education, ideally A-Level or equivalent 1-2 years of procurement or relevant administrative experience Data analysis and reporting skills Exposure to supplier management and procurement processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable handling data Attention to detail and ability to spot trends in data Positive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
