Duties would include: Leading on the delivery of a comprehensive, innovative and evidence based behaviour support service that meets the needs of the students and adults, within a Positive Behaviour Model. Delivery will include the assessment of students along with planning, implementing and evaluating interventions. Planning and development of the PBS service and provide line management to team members. Working in close collaboration with classroom teams, as well as the other members of the Therapy team, in order to provide integrated behaviour support. Promoting expertise and best practice through training, modelling and staff coaching. Attending student reviews or other relevant meetings, to ensure a person centred approach in collaboration with the team around the student. Participating in continuous professional development through self-directed learning. Our ideal applicant will need to have: Evidence of established specialist skillset in behaviour assessment and management. Demonstrates leadership skills through use of appropriate management styles, ability to adapt communication and effective prioritisation and time management skills. Able to work as an effective and co-operative team member and to collaborate successfully with colleagues and Head of Therapy. Effective line management skills evidenced through the ability to coach, support and performance manage team members.
