Time 4 Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Site Manager to work for a main contractor whose head office is based in Swansea. My client is a very well established and highly reputable family firm renowned for quality of work and delivery, specializing in refurbishment, conservation, and heritage projects including specialized and minor works.
As a Permanent Site Manager, to be successful in this role you must have experience of working on conservation, heritage, and restoration projects. The ideal Site Manager for this client will be able to demonstrate experience of leading works teams with confident decision making and good verbal communication skills. Your main base will be Swansea; however, projects are located throughout the whole of South Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all site managers and supervisors.
2. Supervise all labourers and visitors on site.
3. Liaise with main contractors and sub-contractors on site.
4. Ensure the package is on time against the programme.
5. Ensure the site team adheres to H & S Compliance.
6. Ensure the site team maintains high quality of works to meet the clients' demands.
7. Ensure the safety of all site personnel.
8. Manage productivity of site staff.
Skills and Experience:
1. Previous Site Manager or project manager experience.
2. Full cycle experience of conservation, refurbishment, or heritage projects is essential.
3. SMSTS certification.
4. Valid CSCS card.
5. Valid First Aid certificate.
Benefits:
1. Competitive salary £45,000 to £48,000 depending on experience.
2. Permanent position.
3. To start October/November.
4. Location: Swansea - prepared to travel around South Wales for projects.
