This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with fabricators and suppliers to ensure the highest quality standards in quality assurance processes across a variety of operations.As aJunior QA Inspector, you will be responsible for managing quality assurance procedures, conducting detailed inspections, and collaborating closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in corrective action initiatives and root-cause analysis to enhance quality standards across the supply chain.This is apermanent position with UK-wide and international travel requirements, offering flexibility and variety in the work environment.
This role is ideal for professionals within themanufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, oil & gas, and industrial fabrication sectors, particularly those with expertise inwelding procedures, fabrication standards, and compliance auditing .Key Responsibilities:
Work with fabricators to ensure compliance withquality, engineering drawings, and welding conformance .
Conduct thoroughinspections and testingon components, assemblies, and large-scale projects.
Read and interpretengineering drawings, specifications, and welding symbols .
Assist in the creation and improvement ofQA/QC documentation, including control plans, checklists, and test procedures.
Collaborate withrelevant teams and stakeholdersto promptly address quality concerns and implement solutions.
Monitor production processes and ensure adherence towelding and fabrication standards .
Leadroot cause analysis (RCA) investigationsand oversee corrective action implementation.
Assist ininternal and external audits, compiling reports and making recommendations for improvement.
Provide expertise onwelding procedures, material selection, and repair methods .Key Requirements:
Knowledge ofASME .
Strong understanding offabrication.
Experience inwelding procedures .
Ability toread technical drawings and interpret welding symbols .
Experience providingleadership and supportto internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with teams across different locations.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office ; knowledge ofAutoCADis beneficial.
Flexibility forUK and international travel.Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
