An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS England North East and Yorkshire All Age Continuing Care Team. The role supports NHS Englandâ¯in driving transformation as well as ensuring value for money in planning, commissioning and service delivery by ICBs. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise, and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery.
The post holder will be an expert in NHS CHC and associated policies and will be able to communicate clearly and knowledgeably at a high level.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route youâll usually need to be paid the âstandardâ salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the âgoing rateâ for your job, whichever is higher. The post holder will also be highly experienced in all aspects of NHS Continuing Healthcare Independent Review Panel (IRP) work and the wider Continuing Healthcare agenda. In addition, the postholder will be knowledgeable in Children and Young Peoples Continuing Care.
The post holder will engage stakeholders across the region in setting up IRPs, engagement on NHS Continuing Healthcare & Children Young Peoples Continuing Care Frameworks and delivery of sound decision making.
The postholder will also facilitate development work for the IRP Panel members and ICBs.
The postholder will work with the Regional Lead to support ICBs in providing assurance on CHC decision making. NHS England has a flexible working policy .
