We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to drive our People Services agenda. This pivotal role will lead on the Staff Well-being Strategy, manage job evaluation processes, champion employee learning and development, and oversee People Service metrics and data analysis. The role is 5 days on-site and you will be leading the ER, Recruitment and Learning and Development Teams. The role is 5 days on-site and you will be leading the ER, Recruitment and Learning and Development Teams. Description Assist the Director of People Services in implementing the People Strategy. Lead the development and delivery of management training programmes on people management, policies, and practices. Represent and advocate for the People Services Division, deputising for the Director as required. Ensure accurate and timely preparation, monitoring, and reporting of HR data. Establish key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms that inform strategic improvements and future trends. Lead the job evaluation scheme, ensuring fairness and consistency, and chair the Job Evaluation Committee/Panel. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and on-board top talent in collaboration with the Marketing Team and Recruitment Agencies. Co-develop a comprehensive Well-being Strategy, including mental health initiatives, in partnership with key stakeholders. Collaborate on a Learning and Development Strategy that supports employee retention and maximises the use of the apprenticeship levy. Ensure adherence to legislative changes, safeguarding, health and safety regulations, and data protection standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative systems and processes across the People Services functions. Undertake specific projects as directed by the Director of People Services. Profile Previously managed a team. CIPD Level 7 is desired. Ideal background Public Sector and Not for Profit. Strong experience in ER, recruitment, talent development and learning.
