Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in designing advanced energy management systems, building automation, and industrial control solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive solutions for our industrial customers that integrate Cloud-based ISO 50001 energy management systems, building automation and control systems, and energy metering technologies (Electricity, Natural Gas, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design & Architecture:
o Lead the design and architecture of integrated energy management solutions tailored to industrial customers.
o Develop solutions that incorporate Cloud-based ISO 50001 energy management systems, building automation and control systems, and energy metering (Electricity, Natural Gas, etc.).
o Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
2. Inquiry -To-Order (ITO) Support:
o Support Region teams with site audits, project proposals, effort, and cost estimates.
3. Customer Engagement:
o Engage with industrial customers to understand their specific energy management needs and challenges.
o Translate customer requirements into functional and technical specifications for solution design.
o Present and communicate proposed solutions to customers, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and technical requirements.
4. Technical Leadership:
o Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, from initial concept through site audits, design, implementation, and deployment.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, project managers, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
o Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on energy management systems, building automation, and industrial control technologies.
5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
o Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to energy management, building automation, and industrial controls.
o Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing solutions and processes.
o Contribute to the development of best practices, templates, and standards for solution architecture.
6. Compliance & Standards:
o Ensure that all solutions are compliant with relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 50001.
o Work closely with compliance teams to align solutions with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
1. Education: Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on energy management systems, building automation, and industrial control systems.
o Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, integrated solutions to industrial customers.
3. Technical Skills:
o Deep understanding of Cloud-based energy management systems, particularly those compliant with ISO 50001.
o Expertise in building automation and control systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
o Strong knowledge of energy metering technologies, including electricity, natural gas, and other utilities.
o Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, OPC UA).
o Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS.
o Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in industrial environments.
4. Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
o Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
5. Certifications:
o Relevant certifications in solution architecture, cloud platforms, or energy management (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ISO 50001 Lead Auditor, etc.) are highly desirable.
