As a Youth Support Coordinator, you will report to the Founder/CEO of CIA, Pam Gilligan, and work alongside other members of staff to aid planning and delivery of appropriate content tailored to the Cadets, who will be learning new social skills whilst also learning about the community. You will adapt your delivery to meet the individual needs of the children on the programme.
This post is a 37.5-hour a week fixed-term contract, with a six-month probation period. A key requirement of the role is face-to-face delivery of our Community Cadets programme for two hours on Tuesday evenings at our headquarters in Leigh. The remaining 35.5 hours are for session planning, designing and delivering activities during daytime hours (some at alternative settings within the charity) and liaising with local schools.
