The HVAC Service Engineer Air Conditioning Engineer job itself where you will conduct planned & reactive maintenance, service breakdown & repair to commercial heating ventilation and air conditioning plant and equipment in your region. More specifically:
Collection and fitting of parts as directed by the Senior Managing Engineer / Operations Manager.
Faultfinding diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns.
Reducing refrigerant use via leak check visits
Planned PPM.
Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way.
Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way.
Conducting root cause analysis to adress underlying problems
Working safely in line with health and safety procedures.
Working hours:
45.5 hrs. per week referenced over a 17-week period, Flexible start/finish times to suit, Shifted out of hours cover weeknights and weekends on a 1 in 4 rota basis, Overtime is available all throughout the year (OT rate will be paid at 1.5 hrs.) You will be paid door to door. WTD - 11 hours off between shifts is mandatory
You will have
To be successful as HVAC Service Engineer Air Conditioning Engineer you will be an experienced mobile maintenance engineer with a healthy mix of the following:
A suitably qualified HVAC discipline - AC/Refrigeration desirable.
Experience of working on AHU's, fan colils, pumps & a broad range of refrigeration equipment.
Excellent Fault-Finding and Repair skills.
Excellent communications skills.
A solid understanding of administration procedures.
Excellent attitude and approach to work.
Motivation, enthusiasm and independence.
An ability to be open, honest and be able to work as part of a team.
Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
