Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Long Term Futures are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support children with challenging behaviour, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs in a mainstream primary school in Aston, Birmingham. This is a rewarding role where you will work one-to-one with pupils to help them regulate their emotions, build confidence, and access learning in a positive and structured environment. For the right candidate, this role has potential to become permanent.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 support to children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural needs
Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement
Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and pastoral team to support emotional and social development
Use de-escalation techniques and structured interventions to manage challenging situations
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning space for pupilsWe're Looking For:
Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or challenging behaviour in a school or similar setting
A calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour management
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
