Job description Quantity Surveyor Join WB Power Services in Heanor, at our Head office, as we seek a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to contribute to our flourishing team during this exciting phase of expansion. We are on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor brimming with enthusiasm and dedication to steer our team towards success. As a Quantity Surveyor with WB Power Services, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of our projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial & Technical Director, you will collaborate closely with Project and Installation Managers to oversee costs, contracts, and risk management while prioritizing health and safety protocols. Building and nurturing strong client relationships, delivering accurate reports, and actively enhancing project outcomes will be at the core of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to evaluate project feasibility and refine proposals. Conduct comprehensive assessments of material quantities, costs, and resource requirements pre-tender. Provide continuous support throughout project lifecycle, overseeing subcontractors and construction phases. Cultivate strong client and team relationships, facilitating seamless collaboration. Offer mentorship, share best practices, and actively contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives. Manage application processes and documentation, maintaining cash flow forecasts. Adhere to WB Power Services Ltd ISO standards and policies, including ISO9001/14001/ISO 45001. Ensure timely submission of project-related applications and payment certificates.Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in ISO standards and construction regulations. Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities. Expertise in cost control, financial analysis, and reporting. Meticulous attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
