Aftersales Invoice / Claims Administrator - Southampton

Salary: £28-30k
Hours: Mon- Fri - 8.00am - 5.30pm; Sats - As and when required (paid at overtime)
The Job:
1. As an Invoice and Claim Administrator, you are a critical part of the Service Team.
2. Your role is to support the Customer Executives and Service Manager to ensure customers receive the best service through efficient, timely and accurate administration processes.
3. Prepare cost estimates, invoices and associated paperwork for all work completed within the company.
4. Prepare and submit repair and maintenance claims and warranty claims, ensuring the quality and compliance of all documentation.
5. Reconcile manufacturer payments, including acting upon claim discrepancies and management of aged debt.
6. Complete regular and documented self-audits to drive continuous improvement in business processes.
7. Support the Service Team with effective WIP control.
Relevant Experience Needed:
1. Experience working in an automotive service operation or in a comparable role.
2. Proven track record in warranty/service contract administration.
3. Understanding of compliance associated with Heavy Goods Vehicles.
4. Basic knowledge of service-relevant applications.
5. Basic computer skills as well as general business knowledge.
6. General IT knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
