We are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to the perform for the roles of Legal Compliance Officer (COLP), Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO). As an ambassador for our client’s compliance culture and standards demonstrating the highest standards of compliance behaviour and to raise awareness of regulatory requirements and compliance policies. Group Life Assurance Discounted legal fees Flexible working hours (Flex scheme) Tech scheme, Discretionary bonus scheme, Referral incentive scheme Long service awards Firm wide social events Main duties and responsibilities Performing routine risk assessments to help the firm understand compliance risk, scope and significance Monitoring the firms compliance with regulations and internal policies to ensure they are up to date with the relevant laws Educating employees on compliance regulations and the impact of non-compliance on the organisation Recording their findings properly and following up with management to ensure the issues are rectified Reviewing marketing materials, websites and presentations to ensure compliance with regulations Assisting in the gathering of information internally in response to requests by regulatory organisations Collaborating with management from other departments to ensure compliance and investigating irregularities. Ensure that a prompt report is made to us of any serious breach of the terms and conditions of your firm's authorisation, or the regulatory arrangements which apply to your firm, managers or employees. What we need from you: Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of SRA regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with senior management, regulators, and employees. Extensive experience in compliance roles within the legal sector. Essential: must be a qualified solicitor or lawyer.
