Greetings We are Hiring SharePoint Architect Position in London/Manchester, UK Role – SharePoint Architect Location – London/Manchester, UK Position type: Contract (11 weeks) Need real time experience on RMS.We need someone with Practical experience, configure everything from scratch and handle end to end queries from customer. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the technical lead for the SharePoint-based records management project. Act as the primary point of contact for the project. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business teams, IT teams, to align project goals with organizational objectives. Lead a team of Sharepoint consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and facilitate workshops to understand current records management practices, pain points, and goals. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for SharePoint. Ensure alignment with compliance, governance, and security standards applicable. Architect scalable, user-friendly, and compliant SharePoint solutions for records management, including workflows, metadata, and taxonomy structures. Design content classification, retention policies, and access control models tailored to the firm’s requirements. Along with the team, develop and execute a migration strategy for transitioning records from legacy systems (like Swordfish and network drives) to SharePoint. Lead data mapping, validation, and transformation efforts to ensure data integrity and quality. Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders. Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enable a smooth handover to end users and administrators. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in SharePoint or Microsoft technologies are preferred. 8 years of experience in SharePoint architecture, including consulting, design, and migration projects. Proven expertise in leading records management projects within public sector environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of information governance, compliance, and retention policies. Deep knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Experience with migration tools such as ShareGate. Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
