Job Title: Children's Registered Manager
Location: West Yorkshire (Travel required across the region)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children’s Registered Manager to join our dynamic team in West Yorkshire. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for improving the lives of children and young people in a residential care setting. As a Registered Manager, you will lead a team, oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential services, and ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to children in need.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a residential care team to deliver exceptional care and support.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold the children's welfare and safety at all times.
A driving License is essential as you will be travelling across West Yorkshire.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
Supervise, train, and mentor staff to ensure continuous professional development.
Conduct risk assessments and safeguard vulnerable children.
Oversee care plans and reviews, ensuring they are up to date and reflect the individual needs of the children.
Promote a positive, nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports as required.
About You:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role within the residential care sector.
You must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and be willing to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years if not already obtained.
A valid UK driver’s license is essential, as the role requires travel across West Yorkshire.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
A strong understanding of safeguarding and the regulatory framework in children's residential care.
