One of Carbon60's clients is looking for an Administrator to join a leading University, on a contract basis. Location: London - near Euston Square station (2-3 days in the office) Duration: 8 weeks 3 days - this role needs to start 10th February 2025. Pay rate: £18.72 per hour Role Overview: The Clinical and Professional Practice (CPP) Administrator will be part of a team responsible for managing the MBBS Clinical and Professional Practice curriculum, which comprises 20% of the overall curriculum. This includes dedicated half-day teaching sessions delivered by specialist tutors, managing the MBBS Curriculum Map, and overseeing Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) activities. The role involves providing strategic support for the Academic Lead and Deputy Lead for CPP and the Academic Lead for Quality Assurance and Enhancement. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate 16 vertical modules, including Integrated Clinical and Professional Practice, Overarching Themes, and Student-Centred Learning. Support the CPP Teaching Coordinator and Module Leads in providing specialist administration for CPP modules such as Clinical Communication, Ethics and Law, Mental Health, Patient Safety and Patient Experience, and Patient Pathway in Cancer Medicine. Assist in achieving high-quality and timely service to medical students and staff, working to CPP standard operating procedures. Coordinate CPP module delivery, timetabling, room bookings, and communications with staff and students. Provide support for all matters relating to CPP modules, including enquiries, module management groups, assessments, absence monitoring, and student records. Collate and publish teaching materials in CPP Moodle courses and link materials to events presented in the Curriculum Map.Person Specification: Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Mathematics and English Language) or equivalent. Educated to A-level standard or equivalent professional experience. High-level knowledge of electronic media, including managing and manipulating complex data in Excel spreadsheets, databases, and VLE (Virtual Learning Environment). Experience in a professional services role, preferably in a Medical School or other academic environment. Computer literate, including using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and the internet. Clear verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise with a variety of people. Ability to prioritise and organise workload, meet time-critical schedules, and work under pressure.
