* Position: Graduate Building Surveyor
* Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum depending on experience plus very good company benefits, including 20 days holiday plus all UK bank holidays and Christmas close down, very good company pension scheme and employer funded training/support. A full UK driving licence is essential and all mileage is fully expensed
* Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00, office based approximately 2 days per week and site based approximately 3 days per week (Sussex, Kent and London). Lots of work with local authorities
* Role based in Uckfield. Office based close to the station area with free parking available on-site.

Graduate Building Surveyor
My client is an established firm of Chartered Surveyors who are passionate about delivering a high standard of service whilst keeping pace with the industry.
My client works for Private and Public Sector Clients providing a full range of construction services on contracts of varying value up to £200m, as well as providing Professional Services to domestic and commercial stakeholders.
They have a hard-working team of ambitious Surveyors ranging from Assistant Building Surveyors up to Associate Level with an Administrative support team to maintain their high quality and efficient delivery of services.

The role
My client is seeking a self-motivated, Graduate Building Surveyor who is looking to progress their career and obtain Membership of the RICS. You will need good written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work in a team. You must hold an RICS Accredited Building Surveying Degree.
Experience, competencies and knowledge required:
* Work with the Surveying team on Contract Administration on ongoing projects including attendance at meetings, site inspections, production of specifications and procurement of tenders.
* Preparing AutoCAD drawings including production and submission of Planning Applications.
* Supporting the Surveying team with preparation of Pre-Acquisition Surveys, Schedules of Dilapidations and Party Wall documentation.
There is considerable scope for progression within this practice, with the necessary support and guidance to develop your skill-set.
