Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating pattern of days and nights To provide an effective and safe engineering service to the production team and respond to operational demands in a timely fashion. To maintain equipment both proactively and reactively to ensure factory performance meets targets and KPIs. To improve equipment availability and performance to meet OEE targets through identifying and implementing improvements. To proactively use the PPM System in place (SAP) for the capture of all engineering labour and booking out of parts. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating pattern of days and nights KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Essential: Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical and/or Electronic engineering. Qualifications to be recognised in the UK. Delivers quality and accuracy in own work and standards. Able to cope under pressure and flex with peaks in personal workload. Time served Apprentice. Health & Safety disciplined. Minimum 6 months as a Skill 1 Engineer after completing apprenticeship Desirable: Previous experience of manufacturing operations. Experience in the food processing industry. PLC experience. Welding experience. Knowledge of lean techniques and processes.
