We are representing a well-known and highly reputable organisation in the FMCG industry. The Finance Team is expanding, and we require an Accounts Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will be involved in most of the daily operating procedures within the finance team. On the job training will be provided and there will be opportunities for development. Essential Skills: Strong time-management skills to meet tight deadlines. Strong computer literacy skills. Strong attention to detail. Desirable: Experience in a fast-paced finance environment. Proven experience in a purchase ledger role. What you will be doing: Dealing with incoming supplier emails and telephone calls. Matching approved purchase orders to supplier invoices. Posting all supplier invoices and credit notes to Sage. Preparing and processing supplier payments. Supplier account reconciliations. Liaising with other departments and staff members. General office duties and various other accounting duties as required. Additionally, you will be working as part of the Finance Team, which will consist of 12 other team members.
