Are you an experienced Chief Engineer looking for your next property to manage?
We have an opening for a Chief Engineer to join us at De Vere Wokefield Estate. De Vere Wokefield Estate has 376 bedrooms spread across 3 buildings and 39 meeting and event spaces.
As the Chief Engineer you will ensure the buildings and surrounding grounds are kept in good repair, with emphasis on first class workmanship and an eye for detail. Particular attention must be paid to the venues leisure club plant room facilities to ensure it is kept in an efficient functional order. You will supervise the team and external contractors, ensure all requests to the department are carried out quickly and as efficiently as possible, control and order stock items and facilitate all installations of a mechanical and electrical nature, whilst always complying with all health and safety legislations.
Your skills and experience:
1. You have worked in Maintenance within a hotel or similar type of property such as a care home.
2. You have great time management and organisational skills as you will need to arrange any work needed around the busy schedule of the hotel.
3. You have a flexible approach and are willing to work (if the need arises) outside the stated working week, including weekends on a rota basis.
