We're looking for a Civil Design Engineer, in Central Birmingham, to join a fast-growing development infrastructure team!

The Role: As a Civil Design Engineer in the development infrastructure space, you will focus on the design of highways, drainage and earthworks to support new and exciting developments. You will assist in the submission of planning applications and use your engineering expertise to create designs that bring new and exciting projects to life.
Requirements:
* Experience in the design of highways or drainage to support developments.
* Knowledge of industry standard software, including Civil 3D, InfoDrainage or Causeway Flow.
* An awareness of sectional agreements including S278, S38, S104, S106 etc.
* Good communication skills.
* Awareness of design guides and standards
* Liaison with clients and third parties
* Identifying and managing risks within your area of responsibility
* Completing site visits to review project constraints and the construction process as required within schemes
