Senior Stock Controller £35,000pa Salford, Greater Manchester Overview A rapidly growing and established fashion-wear company in Salford is looking for a Senior Stock Controller to join their team at the fashion studio. The City Recruiter is working on behalf of this company to find a skilled professional who will manage shipment logistics and warehouse operations. In this role, you'll lead a small warehouse team and be responsible for the movement, storage, and tracking of products within the facility. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will ensure the smooth flow of goods and support the distribution process. Responsibilities and Duties Manage incoming shipments. Organise delivery schedules and invoicing. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records, both onsite and with external contractors. Generate reports on stock levels, order status, and inventory performance for management. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of stock. Monitor inventory turnover rates and address slow-moving or obsolete items. Requirements and Skills Proven experience in stock control. Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with Sales, Finance, and Merchandising teams.
