About the Role:
21 HSC are seeking compassionate and dedicated Senior Children's Support Workers to join our client in enhancing the lives of children diagnosed with ASD/ADHD/Neurodiversity and severe trauma at a beautiful location in Fife. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about building really meaningful relationships with children and young people to enable them to live the best lives possible.
Role and Responsibilities:
· You will have lead responsibility for ensuring that the care team on early and late shifts provide the appropriate levels of care and protection to our young people.
· You will guide the practice of less experienced staff and be accountable for the decision making and planning during the shift.
· You will work alongside other senior care workers to develop the service and play an active role in our school improvement plan.
· You will undertake on-calls for our residential settings and provide additional support when required.
· You will lead on delegated tasks and respond to deadlines.
· You will attend all relevant meetings and work in partnership with internal colleagues from education and our therapeutic team.
· You will also establish effective working relationships with external professionals and lead on key-working teams to ensure that the strategies and interventions around young people are consistently implemented.
