I am seeking a dynamic and talented Communications Officerto join a busy Communications team based in Portsmouth.
In this role, you will play a key part in raising awarenessof the essential work the Charity carries out, especially the support providedto beneficiaries through the Grant Making, Commissioning, and Fundraisinginitiatives.
Collaborating closely with the Fundraising and Grants teams,you will be responsible for researching, sourcing, and crafting compellinghuman-interest stories and case studies. These will effectively communicate theimpact of the funding programs, align with the brand, and inspire engagementand support.
Key Skills & Experience
You will bring experience in communications, marketing, orpublic relations, along with a strong educational background and exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills.
With keen attention to detail, you’ll have the ability totransform the complex and nuanced work of the charity into clear, impactfulnarratives that enhance understanding and promote the charity’s mission. Strongstorytelling skills are essential, as well as the ability to collaborateeffectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
You should possess excellent interpersonal skills,maintaining positive, professional relationships with colleagues andstakeholders alike. With an organised and methodical approach, you willconfidently manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectivelyto meet tight deadlines.
