The ideal Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for the retail function, which also includes customer service and goods in, you must be a strong and clear communicator, this a varied role which covers different shift patterns, responsibilities include:
Create workload plans across your department.
Oversee courier dispatches.
Ensure high standards are maintained.
Be dynamic in managing workload, meeting both your personal & team deadlines.
Recruit and train staff to consistently uphold high standards.
Manage new starter paperwork, H&S inductions, and training plans.
Evaluate daily workload and handle staff briefings.
Create staff workload plans, complete staff reviews.
The successful Retail Operations Manager will have the desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and be highly organised, other attributes required are:
Efficiently manage multiple workloads during busy times.
Plan strategies and delegate tasks, overseeing detail-oriented completion.
Manage a diverse retail team of up to 32 people with ease.
Take ownership and drive projects to successful completion independently.
Ensure smooth operations with meticulous organisation and adaptability.
Communicate effectively paying attention to detail while proactively communicating.
Be proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and IT systems for streamlined processes.
Be results-driven, set KPIs, implement incentives, and lead the sales team to exceed targets.
