Our client is a family business with a solid reputation for manufacturing plumbing products for over 100 years. They have a number of divisions that service many different market sectors within industry and commerce. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager for the North of the UK to develop new and established accounts in the Midlands and everything north.
You will sell a large range of plumbing products and components to a variety of markets that include Specifiers, Developers, OEMs, Facilities Management companies, Offsite manufacturers, and Commercial landlords for refurbishment projects. You will develop relationships at all levels in these sectors as well as introduce products at the design phase of the project design process and sell value benefits.
You will work in partnership with internal commercial and sales support teams and operate closely with the sales teams throughout the country. You will have a solid track record in building product sales, ideally in the plumbing or heating sector, and understand the various routes to market that include New Build, Merchants, Contractors, and Specifiers. The opportunities to progress further in the business are second to none as the infrastructure allows real career development.
